One of my favorite practice pads of all time, especially for any rudimental type drumming associated with marching snares. I have another variant as well that is from Tapspace that is a mixture of an active rebound pad and this one, but I definitely suggest this drum pad if your focus is the marching snare. If you like the snare "buzz" or sound, you can find a variant of this pad, but I have not tested it. Instead, I transitioned to a Xymox pad for when I want to sound more like a snare and love that for similar and different reasons. This pad is great for anyone that wants to get better at their rudiments and marching snare technique. You get a lot of the feel of a marching snare without being very loud, which helps when you are trying to focus on skill-building.
