The inverted bass reed featured in this set is an excellent match for our R.G. Hardie and Peter Henderson bagpipes for ease of tuning, great harmonics and reliable striking in.
Ezeedrone have for many years set the standards in synthetic drone reeds and this new set for 2015 takes their reeds to a new level.
This set is made from a sophisticated material that absorbs moisture. This allows the reed to last longer without the effects of moisture upsetting the reed and putting the drones out of tune. These reeds were secretly played by top solo pipers during the 2014 season with superb results and continue to be a popular choice.
More reliable than cane with less susceptibility to moisture and climate, Ezeedrone reeds are easily adjusted using a screw fitting to change the pitch of the reeds.
